Beautiful place for families who want to walk or just relax and watch the birds and other wildlife around the Ponds. A spacious picnic area for those who want to take their own food and drink along. Only one negative point is that there are not any waste bins around?
Lovely peaceful place to sit on one of the many benches and watch the wildlife, with some lovely walks thrown in for good measure. £2 for 2 hours parking seems fair enough (or £5 all day). Apparently threatened with closure, which would be a big shame.
Beautiful place, great bike ride with the kids.
Highly recommend.
The only downside to me which I think is pretty bad is that there are no bins anywhere to put rubbish in.
Amazing hidden gem! If it's a hot day and you fancy a puddle in the stream bring your flip flops and there's picnic tables scattered around. Bring change for the carpark however as signal isn't great out there as in the forest. Was £2 for 2 hours I believe.
Gorgeous, plenty of swans and ducks on the pond, short walk all the way around, pay and display parking. Looked like a cycle/walking trail very close to the pond. Beautiful views.
Beautiful place. Lovely walks around pond. It is threatened with closure. Please support the campaign!
Great place for a quick and easy walk around the lake. Hiking and biking trails direct from the car park if you want more of a challenge. Nice little food stand for hot rolls, tea and coffee, and ice creams Plenty of wildlife and nice scenery. Take money for parking as the phone signal is not great
Peaceful place with lots of picnic benches. Lovely stream for a doggy dip. Sometimes it can flood. Beware of cycles as it's part of the cycle trail. Often a cafe here. No toilets. Free parking. Not very good for wheelchair users.
Beautiful!
Some lovely trails in this area. There is a cafe down by the lake. The track we …
Great area - suitable for all ages. Plenty of parking. Loads of ducks and other birds to see. Lots of level, easy walking, plus other 'off track' areas. Shaded areas and accessible places for children and doggies to paddle. Be aware that there is a fee for parking!
